Personal Training

Bill has dedicated himself to the field of fitness instruction, personal training and fitness instructor training with the same drive he exhibited during his academic studies. In a relatively short period of time, he has earned a well deserved respect from his peers and colleagues and is continually sought after for his expertise in the training of clients from a very wide spectrum. He has worked with children and senior citizens alike, cardiac patients to professional athletes like John Offerdahl of the Miami Dolphins, housewives to corporate executives like Wayne Huizenga of Auto Nation. Additionally, he has created some of the most unique executive training programs and adventure vacations that have lead to corporate trips to Costa Rica, Germany, Hawaii and New Zealand.
— Anthony A. Abbo -/211.D., F-1,efM, CSCS*D President
Bill broadened our team’s understanding of the science of physical training as well as our rather narrow mindset on training. Bill introduced us to BMI testing, establishing baselines as well as dietary implications of the food we ingested. While all these things are known and readily accepted now in the late 80’s and early 90’s this was cutting edge. For most of us we believed weights at the gym, running and swimming were all that was necessary to meet our physical fitness needs. Bill introduced us to cross training and opened our minds to training with whatever is available. With our travel schedule we never know where we would be or what would be available to train with. Through our exposure to Bill we learned that we can train with no equipment, anywhere and have competitive fun while doing it. In essence, Bill introduced us to Cross Training and CrossFit long before they became catchphrase names.
— Paul Miller
Because of Bill’s training and experiences, he was contacted by the United States Air Force to increase the Human Performance of our elite Pararescue teams. Bill was the only Tactical Trainer/Coach we found able to quickly and significantly improve both the mental & physical elements of our Pararescuemen, enabling us to increase our readiness by 200%. Bill’s expertise in applying mission-relevant fitness regimens, Tier 1 based cognitive modeling, with resilience and recovery elements and creating broad spectrum efficiencies empowered us to take direct actions from his recommendations, thereby gaining greater performance, resilience, as well as extended career longevity within the Pararescue career field.
— Joseph F. Barnard, Lt Col (ret), USAF
You have exposed me to not only a different way of living but also a different way of thinking. You first took responsibility for my physical well being and then taught me how to do it myself. You did more than that. Along the journey you would say things or suggests things and concepts that made it clear that you cared and you listened. You have helped me be a better person, a better husband, a better father, a better friend and a better leader when called upon to do so.
— Jeffrey J. Needle, Esquire The Needle Law Group
During the past year, I have observed Bill as he has created and implemented a customized Corporate Wellness Training Program at AutoNation. His efforts are well organized, implemented with efficiency and an integral part of our corporate strategy. Bill has also
conh‚ ibuted to our company by creating safety programs (CPR/ AED), presenting wellness seminars at corporate conferences and by providing team building events. Our Senior Management team has been highly impressed with Bill and his staff.
— Michael E. Maroone President and Chief Operating Officer AutoNation, Inc.
